God has blessed me with the incredible opportunity to go to Uganda and be His hands and feet! This summer in July, I will be sharing the love of Jesus with communities and churches in Kampala. I will be working at a pregnancy/medical center that helps those who cannot afford care, assisting and teaching their staff as they care for expectant moms and deliver their babies. As a midwife, this opportunity is a dream come true. Sharing the love of Jesus Christ while providing care to women is the perfect merger of who I am and what I am called to do. GO Overflow is also partnering with a Ugandan ministry that supports boys living in the slums (African Hearts), and they are now developing a girl's home for women fleeing prostitution and abuse. Anyone who truly knows me, knows that ministering and serving women is my passion and I am honored to be used by The Father to serve His daughters. We will serve many of these young ladies, and I will also be working with several schools in the area and will have the opportunity to go into the slums with our team to feed and love the least of these. Most importantly, I want to share the gospel and the love of Jesus Christ with everyone I meet!
Primarily, I want to ask you for your prayers. Would you also consider helping me reach my financial goal? The cost of the trip is $5,000. I will be gone for 12 days. Your contribution not only supports my travel expenses, but the ministry's ongoing initiative to provide long-term community transformation through medications, supplies, Bibles, and other means of support. You can learn more about the projects at www.go-overflow.org. Any amount the Lord places on your heart to donate- $25, $50, $100- will bring me a step closer to reaching my goal and the people of Kampla, Uganda. All donations are tax-deductible, as they will be made to GO Overflow Ministries. Please note my name when you submit the donation, and it will be credited to my balance. A 50% deposit is due by May 15th, so if you are able to support by that date it will be greatly appreciated. I am fully trusting in God's faithfulness to provide as He has proven Himself to me over and over again. I look forward to sharing stories of God's grace and mercy when I return! Thank you for your prayers and support!
